As a teacher, I can't exactly go on a school strike.

As a teacher, I often wonder what I can do to fight the imminent climate crisis we face. I can't exactly go on a school strike and teaching early primary children about climate change isn't the urgent fix the world needs. By the time my students are old enough to fight for change may well be too late to turn things around. There certainly are better individual choices I can make and I do consider every purchase and every decision with the Earth's future in mind. But I am asking future readers, what can I do as a public school teacher to really bring about the urgent change we need? No matter who you are, you can also ask yourself this question. How do we give children a future world that isn't devastated by fires, natural disasters, starvation and more?
